Carlo Soresina

Carlo is the co-founder of Skipso. Prior to Skipso he held a number of senior roles at international telecommunications provider Cable & Wireless, Internet Service Provider Netscalibur and management consultancy Bain & Company. Carlo holds a business degree from Bocconi University, Milan, and is a fellow student of the MIT Sloan School of Management.
Carlo is passionate about the disruptive force of the Internet and sees a huge potential in leveraging the web to address the challenges posed by Climate Change – which is why he started Skipso.
Carlo is a sports enthusiast, a poor (but keen) saxophone player and lives in London with his wife.

Felipe Padilla
Entrepreneur
Felipe is the co-founder of Skipso. He has 20 years of experience working for Financial, Telecommunications and Internet companies around the world. He holds an MBA from London School of Economics (LSE), HEC School of Management Paris, and New York University Stern School of Business (NYU Stern) and a Computer Engineering degree from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM).
Since 1990 Felipe has seen the Internet transform many Industries and strongly believes that it will now enable the Clean Tech Revolution.
Felipe is a keen chess player, and an avid reader. He lives in London.

María Muñoz
Professional
María is responsible for the back-end development and maintenance of the Skipso platform. She is a technical engineer in Computer Science of Systems and holds a BSc from the Polytechnical University of Madrid. Prior to Skipso she has worked for Vodafone Spain and other technology companies. She recently moved to London to develop her career.
Maria likes taking on new challenges, which is why she joined Skipso. She has a passion for software development and new technologies.
Among her hobbies, Maria loves travelling and dancing (especially sevillanas). She lives in London with her husband.

Chiara Jasson
Professional
Chiara is responsible for Skipso's sustainability strategy and for developing partnerships with NGOs, academia, and the public sector. She holds a PhD in Mass Communication (Government) from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Sustainable Business from the University of Cambridge.
She has always been passionate about sustainable development and, over the years, has worked for international organisations such as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the Overseas Development Institute (ODI) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
Chiara strongly believes in the power of the internet to facilitate multi-disciplinary solutions to climate change and sustainability issues. She lives in London with her husband and son and, in her free time, enjoys swimming and reading.
Editorial Content
Federico Caprotti
Researcher
Federico is responsible for Skipso's editorial content. He is also a Cleantech researcher at UCL in London. Before this, he worked at the University of Oxford and Leicester University; he also worked as consultant in the City. Federico holds a PhD and an undergraduate degree from Oxford University.
Federico's interest in Cleantech as a transitional sector developed from consultancy work in London. His academic research is focused on the role of research firms in enabling communication between investors, tech firms and the policy world. His work has been funded by the British Academy, the Nuffield Foundation, and the Royal Geographical Society-Engineering and Physical Research Council, and his current project analyses flows of Cleantech information in the US, UK and China.
Among his interests, Federico is a keen traveller and an aviation enthusiast.
