• What is My Skipso for?
  My Skipso is your main gateway to the Skipso platform. From here you can manage your professional profile, create and communicate with your network of trusted contacts, receive notifications and requests for collaboration, publish personal blogs, manage your favourite content, control the activity of your personal network through a personalized activity stream and a lot more.
• What information is displayed in the My Skipso Activity section?
  My Skipso Activity allows you to keep up to date with what your contacts are doing within Skipso: who has updated a profile, joined a Group, is attending a specific event and much more. You can also select contacts from your network that you would like to follow more or less frequently by clicking on the "preferences" link.
• What is the Newest Blogs section about?
  This section shows the latest blog entries published by people within your contacts.
• How do I create my professional profile?
  You can create and update your personal profile by clicking in the shortcut "edit profile" or by clicking the "edit profile" link in the top navigation bar. Creating a professional profile will allow fellow Skipso members to gain insights into your expertise and contact you for business opportunities.
• How can I control what information of myself is shared?
  You can access and change your privacy settings any time by clicking on the "My Privacy" link in the top navigation bar; from here you can set privacy levels for your Profile (who can see it), Search (who can find you when searching in Skipso) and News about you (what news about you gets published).
• What are the Requests?
  Notifications sent to you by other members that require you to take an action (usually accept or reject). From here you can also see the status of requests and notifications sent by you to other Skipso members.
• What is the Blog for?
  The blog allows you to post news about yourself, the projects you are working on, your research findings or any other information that is relevant for the Skipso community and that you might want to share with your contacts.
• What is the Message Board for?
  The message board allows your contacts to write a message, post a video, picture or share a link directly on your personal profile page.
• How does the messaging section work?
  Skipso's internal messaging system allows a more private transfer of information. You can send messages to your personal contacts either by clicking on the "Send a message" icon in the Contacts page or directly from the Messages section by typing in the recipient name and composing the message.
• How do recommendations work?
  The recommendations tool allows members to recommend other members within their contacts or be recommended. Receiving recommendations will improve your notoriety within the Skipso platform.
• Can I reject recommendations from other members?
  Yes, accepting a recommendation is discretionary and recommendations that you don't approve can be rejected.
