About the Funding District

• What is the Funding District section for?
  The funding section is a place for Cleantech investors and Cleantech entrepreneurs to meet and seek opportunities to fund or receive funding.
• What are Cleantech Investors profile pages for?
  Cleantech Investors profile pages can be created as a tool for cleantech investors and other organizations to promote their services as well as meet cleantech entrepreneurs and generate deals.
• Can I create an Investor page?
  All members are allowed to create an investor profile page. By doing so they certify that they belong to that organisation and have the right to represent it.
• How do you know if I really belong to the investor profile created?
  There is no way for us to determine whether you are entitled to represent the investor you are creating a page for, but we will constantly monitor the site and will report any abuse. Upon registering to Skipso each user has also agreed to our user code of conduct that you find in detail in our terms of use.
• Can I customize my investor profile page?
  Investor profile pages can be customized with discussion forums, blogs and shared content functionality.
• Can I create funding events?
  Funding events can be created within the investor profile page.
• Can I invite other members to become followers of my investor page?
  You can invite other members to become followers of your page. You can also share your investor profile with selected Skipso members that might be interested in your corporate profile.
• Can I invite external users to join my investor page?
  Once the private beta phase is over, you will be allowed to invite external contacts to join your investor page.
• Can I join any other investor page displayed in the funding district?
  Investor pages are open for any interested Skipso member to join.
• As a follower what am I allowed to do?
  As a follower you can communicate directly with the administrator of the investor page as well as participate in discussion forums for that investor, view or share content and read the latest blogs posted on that investor page.
• How do I find investors in the funding district?
  A search wizard is available to browse investors either by investor type (e.g. Hedge fund or Venture capital), funding level (e.g. $0-$0.5m or $5.0m-$15m), geographic focus (e.g. Asia/Pacific), by industry specialisation (e.g. Waste and Pollution) or industry focus.
• As an entrepreneur can I create and post funding requests?
  Skipso Members can post their funding requests directly to the funding district and find investors matching their criteria. Likewise, Investors can set alerts to receive funding requests that match their investment preferences.
